“Highway Mornings with Cody Alan & Macie Banks” Set to Debut on Monday, Airing Weekdays from 5 A.M. to 12 P.M. ET on SiriusXM’s The Highway.

Cody Alan, known for his work with CMT, is expanding his portfolio to include SiriusXM.
SiriusXM announced on Friday that Cody Alan will be the host of a new morning show on The Highway.
“Highway Mornings with Cody Alan & Macie Banks” is set to launch on Monday and will be broadcast on weekdays from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET on SiriusXM’s The Highway, accessible in vehicles on channel 56 or via the SXM App, allowing listeners to tune in from anywhere.
The show will feature the latest in country music, pop culture, entertainment, engaging discussions with celebrity guests, listener calls, and personal anecdotes. The new hosting duo aims to bring a fresh and entertaining perspective to the airwaves.
Cody Alan will also continue his role as the host of CMT’s flagship weekly music program, “Hot 20 Countdown,” on television.
SiriusXM’s The Highway specializes in contemporary country music, showcasing artists such as Kelsea Ballerini, Morgan Wallen, Carly Pearce, Luke Combs, and Thomas Rhett, along with the emerging stars of country music.
Cody Alan, hailing from Columbia, South Carolina, has had a radio career that began at the young age of 15. Over the years, he has built a reputation as a highly respected radio host, receiving numerous awards, including the 2021 National On-Air Personality of the Year award from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music’s Personality of the Year title twice. During his time in Dallas, Texas, he was a nine-time recipient of the Country Music Director of the Year award.
In 2017, Cody Alan made national headlines by publicly coming out as gay. He collaborates with GLAAD to host the annual Concert for Love and Acceptance and received the 2022 Visibility Award from the Human Rights Campaign for his contributions to the LGBTQ+ community.
Cody Alan also released his memoir, “Hear’s The Thing,” in 2021, where he shares his on-air adventures, his coming-out journey, and the valuable lessons he has learned through active listening.
As a father of two, Cody Alan enjoys spending quality time with his partner and family.
