Miranda Lambert took to social media on Saturday, October 14th, to extend birthday wishes to her husband, Brendan McLoughlin. She shared an endearing video featuring the couple playfully goofing around and singing a classic song from the movie “Grease.”
The country superstar shared several images and videos, which showcased her husband, who is known for his dedication to fitness, shirtless. This continues the trend of Lambert posting shirtless pictures and videos of him online, which she has been doing since their marriage on January 26, 2019.
The last part of the video series depicts Lambert and McLoughlin dressed in what appears to be traditional attire from a recent overseas trip. The couple is seen sitting at an outdoor bar, enjoying a drink together, swaying comically and singing along to “You’re the One That I Want” from the movie “Grease.”
In her caption, Lambert wrote, “Happy Birthday to the best husband. @brendanjmcloughlin I love you. You’re the one that I want.”
Numerous country stars commented on the post, including Charles Kelley from Lady A, who humorously remarked, “We get it Miranda…he’s in shape. Don’t have to make us all feel bad.”
Other comments came from Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, as well as Caylee Hammack, Jenna Paulette, Karen Fairchild from Little Big Town, producer and songwriter Shane McAnally, and more. Many of the comments celebrated the couple’s sweetness and compatibility.
Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin initially crossed paths on the set of Good Morning America in November 2018. In October 2019, Lambert revealed in an interview with the New York Times that she was engaged in media appearances to promote the release of the Pistol Annies’ “Interstate Gospel” album. It was on that day when her bandmates, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe, played matchmakers for Lambert and McLoughlin, who was an NYPD officer at the time, working in security for the TV show.
Since then, McLoughlin has retired from the NYPD and become a part of Lambert’s professional team.
