Celebrating Thanksgiving initially with turkey dinners, Tim McGraw enthusiasts now have an extra reason to rejoice—new music. On Monday night, McGraw caught followers off guard with the unexpected release of his latest six-song EP, “Poet’s Resumé.”

Expressing gratitude on Instagram, McGraw shared, “In the spirit of being thankful, I’m so grateful for all of you and the ways you have supported me, my family and my music thru the years. Here’s a little surprise drop of a few songs you’ve never heard. Enjoy!”


In conjunction with the release of the EP, Tim McGraw has also unveiled a lyric video for the featured track “Runnin’ Outta Love.”

This new musical offering aligns with his recent achievement of securing the No. 1 spot with the song “Standing Room Only,” the title track from McGraw’s latest full-length album, released in August. Marking his 17th studio album, “Standing Room Only” stands as McGraw’s 47th chart-topping song.

Collaborating with his longtime producer Byron Gallimore, McGraw co-produced “Poet’s Resumé,” a collection that includes compositions from some of the singer’s favorite songwriters, such as Lori McKenna, The Warren Brothers, Tom Douglas, and more.
